Steven Paul Jobs was born in February 24, 1955 in San Francisco. He was an American business magnate, entrepreneur, industrial designer, investor, and media proprietor. Steve Jobs’ impact on your life cannot be overestimated. He’s considered the “Father of the Digital Revolution,” a “master of innovation,” and a “design perfectionist.” His innovations have likely touched nearly every aspect — computers, movies, music and mobile. In 1977, at age 22, Steve Jobs introduced the Apple II. Apple Computer started becoming successful as among the first to mass produce microcomputers. At 23, Steve was estimated to be worth one million dollars. At age 24, he was worth $10 million, and at 25 was worth $100 million.

1. Don’t Live a Limited Life

Everyone is unique and have abilities different than others. So we should all live our own life without worrying about the expectations of others. Live your own life without comparing that of others. We have a limited time, so don’t waste it by living someone else’s life. Identify what you truly want to become, and work on it. You must have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. It does not make you a bad person to want to live your own life.

2. Have Passion

You must have a passion in life. Have the passion, take the action and magic will happen. Your passion gives you a sense of purpose. Having a passion affirms your values. You can only be successful in life, if you do the things you love to do. So make your profession, your passion. People without a passion are going nowhere in life.

3. Design for yourself

You are the captain of your own ship; don’t let anyone else take the wheel. Design life for yourself, you won’t receive a second opportunity to do so, so you either do it now, or you regret it on later in life. So be yourself and live your own life. So without caring what other people think, start telling your story the way it was meant to be told.

4. Don’t Sell Crap

Always focus on the quality. Always try to improve the quality of your products, your acts, your deeds and of your life. By selling high quality products, you develop loyal customers for yourself. So never ever sell a crap for short term benefits. Never compromise on the quality. Apple products have always been top quality and that’s the reason why they are still at the top. They just provide quality products, and because of that they have loyal customers that are always willing to buy.

5. Build a great team

You are the average of five people you spend most time with. It is important that you surround yourself with people who get you and push you to the work harder than you did yesterday. Surround yourself with people who are only going to lift you higher. If you surround yourself with smart and positive people that share your vision, well then, you have a bright future ahead of you.

6. Don’t do it for money

Do not work for the money, work for your passion. You must have an objective in your life and work for it. Choose a job you love and you never have to work a day in your life. If your objective is just to earn money, then you can never be happy and satisfied with your life.

7. Be proud for your products

Never compromise on the quality of the products. Make sure your product is of high quality and it’s something that people would love to use. Don’t try to make cheap products with low quality. If your products are of good quality, people never think about price. Steve Jobs stated that their goal in Apple was to build high quality products that they can be proud of, that they can recommend to their friends and family members.

8. Build around customers

Your customers are the backbone of your business. A successful business is directly proportional to the number of satisfied customers. Take the time every day to learn more about your customers, their industry and their challenges. Take regular feedback about your products quality and try to fulfill their demands.

You should put all your efforts to gain the trust of the customer on your products and services. If you don’t earn the customer’s trust, they’ll probably buy from someone else.

9. Marketing is about values

He believed even the best brands need caring and investing. But the best companies do not necessarily talk about their products. He cited Nike, who does not talk about its air soles or why it is better than Reebok. Instead, its commercials honor athletes and athletics. Therefore, marketing Apple is to know what it is that the company stands for. Although Apple creates great computers for people to get their job done, its core value is really that people with passion can change the world for the better.

10. Stay hungry, Stay foolish

Steve jobs said that never be satisfied, and always push yourself. Always work hard to become better and better. Always stay hungry to do new things, to learn new things and to set new ambitious targets for yourself. Always do (or be willing to keep trying) the things people say cannot be done. Nothing is impossible in this world, so work hard to make impossible possible.
